Life, What is it all about?

It's always seemed funny to me that people take life for granted. They let time slip away until one day they wake up to find themselves old. Not really old in body but old in spirit. The simple joys of youth hold no magic any longer and they have to think about the last time they laughed out loud.
I can't imagine life without laughter. Silly giggles that grow stronger until you have to grab hold of the arm of the chair to keep from falling over. Laughing so hard that it gives you the hiccups and you try to hold your breath only to explode again. Life is to be laughed at and never taken seriously. Children understand this from birth, but sometime as we grow older we forget it. An adult tells us to "act our age". What they really mean to act their age.
I love to make people laugh. Nothing in the world means more to me than to see a smile on the face of someone I care about and know that I put it there. Maybe if more people tried to make their love ones laugh, there might be less pain and hatred in the world. Can you really hate someone who makes you laugh?
I can remember the joy of a cardboard box and a grassy hill. The cool fun of playing in the rain. The excitement of exploring a stream. I am forever a child in my memories.
